Mide Akinlaja has received a number of awards as an entrepreneur; and his career spans over 15 years cutting across banking, financial publishing, marketing communications, media productions and entrepreneurship development. He is the Director of Bravopoints International Ltd, a business media production company that has worked with top companies as clients and has collaborated on different projects with top organizations and multinationals such as, Central Bank of Nigeria, MTN, Heritage Bank, Ford Motor Corporation, Toyota, Sifax Group, Friesland Campina, Shell, First Bank, Zenith Bank, BetKing, OVH Energy amongst others

For more than a decade, Mide has championed and influenced public policy directions and entrepreneurship development via different initiatives and programmes including convening national dialogues and debates on Nigeria’s future with attendance of business leaders and entrepreneurs. He has also hosted and interacted with tens of thousands of young entrepreneurs in Nigeria; and through this experience, he has become continuously convinced of the importance of stimulating entrepreneurship and innovation as a prerequisite for economic growth and prosperity.

He is the founder of The Next Titan, Nigeria’s foremost business reality TV Show which is dedicated to igniting the entrepreneurial spirit of Nigerians, and which gives an opportunity to aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas to compete in real-life entrepreneurial challenges in a bid gain practical business mentorship and ultimately to win prizes of millions of naira and brand new cars to start their business. The programme which is in its 7th season has influenced multitude of entrepreneurs across Nigeria; and the past winners and participants have created jobs while some of the winners have made the list of Forbes Under 30 CEOs in Africa.

Mide who was one time the Publishing Director of The Financials, a monthly business magazine in Nigeria, began his post-graduate working experience with Lion Bank Plc which merged with Diamond Bank, and now as Access Bank

He is a graduate of Business Administration and Management; and with MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from University of Cumbria, United Kingdom. He is also a leadership and Inspirational speaker.
